Ellie Goulding hosted the 13th annual Billboard Women In Music celebration on Thursday night.

The room was full of some of the most pioneering women in music history including Alicia Keys, Trailblazer Award winner Janelle Monaé, and Cyndi Lauper, who was honored with the Icon Award.

Patti LaBelle presented Ariana Grande with the Women of the Year Award, where she performed her hit song “Thank U, Next,” sporting her signature high pony-tail, thigh-high boots and wearing a pre-fall Christian Siriano mini-dress that has yet to hit the runway.

“I want to say that I find it interesting that this has been one of the best years of my career and like the worst of my life. I’m not saying that for sympathy. I’m just saying that because I feel like a lot of people would look at someone in my position right now … and think, ‘She’s really got her shit together,’ you know? Like, ‘She’s really on it.’ Like, ‘She’s got it all,” Ariana said in her candid acceptance speech. “I do, but as far as my personal life goes, I really have no idea what the f–k I’m doing,” she admitted.

Other winners included country star Kacey Musgraves, who took home the Innovator Award and performed an acoustic performance of “Butterflies” from her newly Grammy-nominated album “Golden Hour.”

Celebrity stylist Erin Walsh dishes on Sarah Jessica Parker’s style

Erin Walsh didn’t always plan on being Hollywood’s go-to stylist.

In celebration of Pronovias’ latest ‘Evening Essentials’ line, AOL sat down with Erin Walsh at the brand’s flagship store in New York City, where the celebrity stylist hosted a master class about the collection.

“I’m excited about this collection because it speaks to so many women, both silhouette wise and in terms of viable lasting options in your wardrobe. None of these feel like fast fashion or one-season-wonders. The way that they were able to do such a classic collection is such a modern and elegant way is not an easy feat. I was extremely impressed,” Walsh said of Pronovias’ new evening line.

“When I found out I was working with Sara Jessica Parker I think I almost died. When I started working with Kerry Washington several years ago, I only had a couple of red carpet clients and she sort of took a chance on me and I was like ‘is this really happening?’ and then all of these things came up and it was like a runaway train for a while, it was really fun.”

Erin is not only responsible for the former “Sex and The City” actresses epic Met Gala look, but the two recently worked together on a dress she wore to the New York City Ballet’s Fall Fashion Gala alongside hubby, Matthew Broderick. The red couture gown made headlines was even dubbed her ‘best look yet.’

“With the ballet specifically every year, its a collaboration with the designers and they designed costumes for the ballet and then we customized that dress by Giles [Deacon], who is pretty much running a couture house at this point. He is an exquisite man and we were very lucky to do that,” Walsh explained of the breathtaking look.

“One of my favorite parts about doing all of this is starting these relationships with these brands and designers and figuring out what kind of stories you want to tell. Also, getting to work these designers, not just for the occasion but making it a narrative. How many different ways can we tell their brand’s story and the women that they are speaking too? If it just happens to be on a red carpet with SJP or whoever that person is, it’s speaking volumes to the kind of women that so many women want to be,” she added.

It’s no secret that backless loafers and mules are this seasons must-have shoe silhouette. While Alessandro Michele at Gucci certainly started the trend, other designers are not too far behind. Kendall Jenner was spotted earlier this week walking around Beverly Hills in $530 Prada mules and now retailer’s can’t keep them in stock.

Sure, they don’t come cheap but there is something to say about investing in classic shoes that will stand the test of time. The Italian-made minimalistic flat features a leather upper lining and sole with a chic pointed toe and comes in three colors- black, navy and pink suede.

While they are almost completely sold-out on Barney’s website, we searched the web high and low. Scroll down to see Kendall’s outfit and shop the shoe below or check out the gallery for more affordable options!
