Stars jet set to Paris for Couture week

Despite the chilling temperatures, A-listers are jet-setting to Paris to kickoff fashion month.

With the ideal timing of couture week falling right in the middle of awards season, we have a feeling nominees and presenters will be competing for their picks of the chicest straight-off-the-runway gowns.

Timothée Chalamet and Frank Ocean led the pack during Men’s Fashion Week, but the stars are turning it up a notch for Spring 2019 Couture week.

Chanel’s 18th century-inspired runway show brought out the likes of Kristen Stewart and Tilda Swinton Tuesday morning, while Kaia Gerber graced the runway sporting dramatically teased hair.

Rachel Brosnahan, Felicity Jones and Karlie Kloss took a front row seat during Christian Dior’s Haute Couture circus-themed show the same day Kate Beckinsale attended red-carpet favorite Giambattista Valli.

Rihanna to launch luxury fashion house with LVMH

This article originally appeared on

Rihanna is reportedly launching her own luxury fashion house under LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.

While the details of this upcoming partnership are said to be unknown, the Grammy winner’s new label would mark the first time LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault has launched an original new house since Christian Lacroix in 1987. Currently, the French conglomerate umbrellas Celine, Givenchy, FendiEmilio Pucci and more than 60 other iconic brands. This deal would also make Robyn Rihanna Fenty the first black female designer at LVMH.

Very few celebrities have made the lucrative transition to head high-end fashion labels. There’s Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s The Row, Victoria Beckham’s eponymous line and U2 frontman Bono co-founded the Kate Middelton-loving brand, EDUN in 2005 which eventually sold to LVMH in 2009 and sold back in 2018.

The “Love on the Brain” singer might have several fashion collaborations under her belt (Armani, River Island), however the success of her Fenty Puma line has exceeded all expectations of a celebrity branded partnership.

According to WWD, “LVMH has already handpicked a clutch of employees from within, including some from Louis Vuitton and Celine, to work on the project in tandem with Rihanna.”

Another source noted that the collection will include ready-to-wear, leather goods and might be released to coincide with her ninth album.

The 30-year-old Barbadian born singer is no stranger to the influence of fashion. In 2014, she won the CFDA Fashion Icon award where she famously wore a naked dress made from 216,000 Swarovski crystal with a matching head piece by Adam Selman.

Timothée Chalamet, Naomi Campbell sit front row at Louis Vuitton’s menswear F/W 2019 show

Timothée Chalamet, Naomi Campbell and more stars filled the front row Thursday morning in Paris to support Virgil Abloh’s second show for Louis Vuitton Homme.

The “Beautiful Boy” actor kept it casual in a black hoodie and white sneakers and sat next to Grammy-winning Frank Ocean who attended the show in a vibrant yellow puffer.

Naomi Campbell traded in her iconic long locks for a chopped tasseled bob and sported a muted tailored blazer over a dreamy Louis Vuitton pleated dress.

The supermodel posed for photos with Migos’ member Offset, who made his runway debut the day before walking in Abloh’s Off-White Fall 2019 men’s show.

Abloh’s Fall/Winter 2019/2020 collection, which is inspired by Michael Jackson, marked his second runway presentation as the men’s artistic director.

Last weekend, the multi-faceted designer debuted his Louis Vuitton x Chrome Hearts residence in New York City where Martha Stewart and Bella Hadid dined together and celebrated the collection.

Martha Stewart’s publicist is a low-key fashion icon

Martha Stewart runs in a tight-knit circle, counting Snoop Dog and Ralph Lauren as good friends. The domestic guru even had dinner with 22-year-old supermodel Bella Hadid on Wednesday night — but it’s her look-alike publicist and BFF that has us captivated.

Meet Susan Magrino! She is a PR genius, whose eponymous public relations company was recently named one of the most powerful PR firms of 2018. Not only is she Martha Stewart’s side-kick, but she’s an underrated uptown fashion icon.

Her Instagram series #emergingfromthedoor showcases Magrino’s daily outfits as she leaves her chic Manhattan home. From Versace blazers to Pucci caftans and Yves Saint Laurent jackets made from vintage dreams, her collection of iconic and contemporary pieces is pretty unbelievable.

Jennifer Lopez had 10 outfit changes in two days

Jennifer Lopez proved she’s a pro when it comes to outfit changes.

The triple threat, who is currently making her press tour rounds to promote her latest film “Second  Act,” conquered 10 looks in just two days. From ocean-esqué sequins to a Fendi Zucca fur, we should give credit where credit’s due to her epic duo styling team, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn.

Jennifer started off her busy Tuesday in a head-to-toe white look by Stephane Rolland for her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen. The keyhole neck and super wide-leg pants made for the first of many jaw-dropping looks to come.

The winter whites didn’t stop there. Next, J.Lo stopped by “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in a super feminine A-line dress cinched at the waist with metal belt and plunging neckline. The movie star finished off her look courtesy of sky-high Jimmy Choo pumps.

Of course, she needed to change it up for her exit, so she switched gears into a full-on Maxmara groutfit (aka an all grey outfit) to depart from “The Tonight Show.”

She continued her monochromatic theme for SiriusXM’s Town Hall in another all-white ensemble, also by Stephane Rolland. The mom-of-two layered up in a wine-hued floor length fur, bringing us back to the ’90s era of J.Lo we all know and love.

Eventually, she headed to BLT Steak for a much-needed date night with boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, and braced the NYC winter in a Fendi Zucca fur coat. Underneath, J.Lo sported a perforated nude leather dress paired with matching suede thigh-high boots, and a parisian-style beret.

The next day, Jennifer first appeared on “Good Morning America” where she opted out of her neutral tones and stunned in a blue sequin wide-leg jumpsuit with a matching overcoat. In the afternoon, the singer had a mother-daughter date with her mom, Guadalupe, looking chicer than ever in another groutfit, posing in front of a Christmas tree.

For “Live with Kelly & Ryan,” Jennifer amped it up in a Maison Valentino black and white cape, complete with thigh-high Louboutins, because why not?

Finally, the best fashion moment came when she brought the drama for the world premier of “Second Act” wearing a fuchsia tulle couture gown by Giambattisa Valli. The show-stopping dress featured a high-low hem with a train too long to dance in so naturally, she slipped into a sexy white dress for the after party, alongside Vanessa Hudgens.

Kendall Jenner rocks sheer sequin dress to 2018 British Fashion Awards

Monday night, Kendall Jenner conquered London in a knock-out gown by Julien Macdonald.

The 2018 British Fashion Awards brought out the likes of style icons including Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham, who were joined by forces of the next generation, Kaia Gerber and Winnie Harlow (both were nominated for Model of the Year, which Kaia won).

Kendall might not have been a nominee, but the 23-year-old super model still turned heads in a totally sheer, gold sequin dress featuring strong shoulders. Only sporting cheeky undergarments, Kendall bared her legs with a sexy slit, despite the winter chill.

Equal parts sexy and minimal, she kept the rest of her look simple with her pushed back hair, dainty gold heels and slim hoop earrings.

The second-youngest Kar-Jenner has had a slew of epic style moments over the year. From off-duty to red carpet, check them out below!

Gigi Hadid has a monochrome moment in Pantone’s Color of the Year

On and off the runway, Gigi Hadid is our forever fashion muse.

On her way to a Vogue event in New York City on Wednesday, the 23-year-old supermodel put her own spin on Pantone’s 2018 Color of the Year: Coral.

Rocking the vibrant hue from head-to-toe, Gigi wore a custom look by Ronald van der Kemp. The Dutch designer is synonymous with creating sustainable-couture clothing made from reworked fabrics. Her orange silk blouse fastened right at the torso, flashing a beam of flesh courtesy of her undone buttons.

On the bottom, the blonde bombshell extenuated her legs-for-days thanks to the high-rise fit of her cotton lace ultra-flared pants. She topped off the rest of her dynamic look with floral pointed toe pumps, making us forget winter hasn’t even officially started yet. In the beauty department, Gigi accented her already-stunning blue eyes with blush-coral toned eyeshadow to complete the ensemble.

Best of 2018: Our favorite Gigi Hadid sightings of the year

Landing her 35th Vogue cover by the age 23, there’s no doubt that Gigi Hadid is one of the most in-demand supermodels and the true definition of an “It” girl.

2018 has been a busy year for Gigi. From her major beauty collaboration with Maybelline to her final Tommy Hilfiger collection spanning across four seasons, Gigi’s world domination in the fashion space does not go unnoticed.

When she’s not walking the runway, her off-duty style is a force to be reckoned with – one that’s equally sexy as it is sporty.

There were ripped jeans, cropped hoodies, cool sneakers and everything in between, but Gigi also owned a slew of iconic catsuit moments.  Perhaps the most memorable was the time she rocked a super retro colorful Versace catsuit to the 2018 CFDA awards. After the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the blonde bombshell headed to the after party in a silver metallic catsuit featuring a matching choker, also by Versace.

Plus, we can’t forget the gold Versace mini dress she wore in April to celebrate her golden birthday for a night out in NYC.

Karl Lagerfeld took over the Metropolitan Museum of Art for his 2018/19 Metiers d’Art show on Tuesday.

Bringing a contemporary approach to ancient Egypt, Chanel’s latest collection was clearly inspired by the country paved in gold. The front row at the Met housed a slew of Chanel muses: Penélope Cruz, Margot Robbie, Julianne Moore, and Blake Lively all looked chicer than ever decked in the French fashion house.

Diane Kruger stunned in a black sheer gown, which featured beautiful beading and a high-boat neckline, while Janelle Monaé stuck to her signature black and white ensemble in a beaded stripe gown topped off with Parisian beret.

The collection included full-cut bouclé jackets and gold leather came in the form of hats, pants and knee-high boots. Kaia Gerber walked the runway in an oversized denim-on-denim look with slicked-back hair while, Chanel ambassador and music mogul, Pharell, dubbed as a high-fashion pharaoh for the catwalk.

This marks only the third time that the French fashion house has shown in New York — once in 2005 and a second time in 2006 at Grand Central Station.

Jerry Seinfeld and wife Jessica also attended the show. Check them out in the gallery above!

Rachel Zoe’s Resort 2019 presentation brought out a slew of her A-list besties for a night of holiday glamour.

The 47-year-old designer unveiled her latest collection at her first brick-and-mortar store in Palisades Village. In a room full of sequins, velvet, and metallics, there was no shortage of stars.

Paris and Kathy Hilton had a mother-daughter date as they celebrated the new collection. The newly-single beauty mogul kept it playful as usual, wearing a leopard blouse from Zoe’s collection paired with a leather mini skirt.

Sara and Erin Foster were both dressed to kill in striking black dresses. Sara stunned in a satin mermaid maxi while Erin opted for a chic velvet long sleeve dress, staying in tune with the holiday spirit.

Their future step-mom (or something like that) was also in attendance, looking more glam than ever. Katharine McPhee, who recently got engaged to David Foster, was alluringly cool in a navy sequin plunging power suit.

She’s not a regular mom, she’s a cool mom!

Introducing Mrs. Bieber!

The newly-married model just unveiled her first magazine cover as ‘Hailey Bieber’ on the December issue of Vogue Arabia. The blonde-beauty transformed into a glamorous disco diva, paying homage to a modern take on Studio 54. The abundance of pink blush and striking eye-shadow makes Hailey look nearly unrecognizable. “More is More. Hailey Bieber Plays Disco Diva,” the cover reads.

The second cover (which is way more telling of Hailey’s appearance) photographs a refined yet stunning profile of the model, with her massive wedding ring front and center.

When asked how she deals with the new wave of fame since marrying Justin Bieber, she credits downtime on social media as a crucial facet.

“I spend increasingly less time on social media,” she shares. “This has helped me balance everything that comes with this life.”

The Vogue covers come nearly two weeks after the 22-year-old model changed her Instagram handle to her new married name, and even updating her bio to “Hailey Rhode Bieber.”
