Charlie Puth and Charlotte Lawrence are officially an item.
The “One Call Away” singer seemingly confirmed his relationship on Thursday, sharing a blurry black-and-white photo of the pair with the caption “Happy Valentine’s Day.” adding a heart emoji.
Puth and Lawrence were first spotted leaving Dave Chappelle and John Mayer’s performance at a West Hollywood club in December — Lawrence’s best friend, Kaia Gerber, tagged along, too. The couple was most recently spotted out and about during New York Fashion Week, where Lawrence performed at the Diane Von Furstenberg party.
So who exactly is Charlotte Lawrence? In short, she’s a mega-talented singer who dropped her debut album, “Young,” back in May. Here are five must-know facts about the 18-year-old beauty!
1. She’s an up and coming singer-song writer — who can really, really sing!
Every so often, a virtually unknown singer comes along and truly blows us away. Charlotte first started gaining attention with her sultry version of the hit “Grease” song, “Your The One That I Want.” From there, she dropped singles including “Seventeen” and “Sleep Talking” which gained major streaming success on Spotify. In 2018 she debuted her first album, “Young,” and sold out shows at small venues all over the world. She also collaborated with Kaskade on their beautiful breakup song “Cold As Stone.”
2. Her dad created the hit show “Scrubs”
Charlotte’s dad, Bill Lawrence, created the iconic NBC show “Scrubs,” where Charlotte’s mom, Christa Miller, starred in alongside Zach Braff. Bill also has written for hit shows such as “The Nanny” and “Boy Meets World” and is even credited with having named the character Topanga Lawrence.
3. She calls Zach Braff her uncle
Often spotted in the VIP section of Charlotte’s concerts, the 43-year-old actor has remained a close friend of the family since his time on “Scrubs.” The two refer to each other has uncle and niece and, in December, Braff took to Instagram to share a photo with Charlotte alongside Puth with the hilarious caption “Tried to take a sweet picture with my pseudo-niece and got photobombed by an up and coming musician.” — So basically, the relationship signs were there all along, and we totally missed it!
