Justin Theroux, Emma Stone and more stars attend the Louis Vuitton 2019 Cruise show

Originally published on AOL.com

The stars aligned this Memorial Day Weekend as fashion’s favorite A-listers headed to the south of France for the Louis Vuitton 2019 Cruise show.

Emma Stone, Jennifer Connelly and Sienna Miller were just a few of the females who posed for the cameras right before the runway show started. Stone rocked black crystal-embellished flare trousers while Miller wore a classic shift dress infused with a Louis Vuitton logo front and center.

Stone, who became the new face of Louis Vuitton earlier this year, has since modeled in global ad campaigns with the brand’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, and has been spotted donning his designs during many red-carpet occasions. In a recent interview with W Magazine, Ghesquière explained why Emma has the perfect aura to represent the brand, “what I love about you, Emma, is your ability to balance. You have this femininity and, at the same time, a boyish side that’s super cool and inspiring.”

Also in attendance, DJ Mark Ronson sat with Justin Theroux for a photo, while Sophie Turner and Laura Harrier were all smiles.

How Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen became millionaires by the time they turned 10

Originally published on AOL.com

Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen currently reside in New York City and are rarely ever spotted. The 31-year-old twins live a very private life and usually only attend public events such as the Met Gala and formal charity affairs. At just six months, they began their start in what would soon become a billion dollar empire. Here’s how:

“Full House” (1987-1995) – Six months to 9-years-old, fraternal twins Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen shared the household famous role of Michelle Tanner on the ABC Sitcom “Full House.” The show went on for a successful eight seasons and won five major awards.

Dualstar Entertainment Group (1993-present) – Two years before the show ended, the Olsens created and began co-owning Dualstar Entertainment Group, which was set up by their manager, Robert Thorne. The company produced all of the Olsen’s iconic films and television series. A year after the launch, “The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley” debuted a widely profitable series of musical mystery videos followed by a collection of children’s books and games. The duo’s famous motto was “will solve any crime by dinnertime.”

The sister act went on to star in over ten films including “Double, Double, Toil, and Trouble,” “It Takes Two,” “Billboard Dad,” “Passport to Paris,” and “Holiday in the Sun.” In the midst of all movies, they had three major TV series once Full House officially ended on the ABC network. The shows were “Two of a Kind”, “So Little Time” and the animated series “Mary-Kate and Ashley in Action”.

After appearing in numerous different cameos including “The Simpsons” and “Weeds” and filming their last movie together, “New York Minute,” the Olsen’s put acting on hold and decided to go head first into the fashion industry. Under the Dualstar umbrella, Ashley and Mary-Kate launched an array of fashion brands that all began with a namesake line of fragrances, make-up and even toothpaste. Today, the combined Olsen fashion empire is estimated at over a billion dollars.

According to a Telegraph report, at 10-years old, the sisters became the youngest self-made millionaires in American history and were handed control of Dualstar on their 18th birthday, making them among the richest teenagers in the world.

The Row (2006-present)– After the success of launching affordable clothing lines with Wal-Mart and J.C Penny, The Olsens started The Row as a personal project in 2005 with the challenge of creating the perfect t-shirt. A year later, they created a 7-piece couture collection made up of luxury basics that were first bought by Barneys New York. The success of their high-end label lead them to win a total of four CFDA awards at the highest honor a fashion designer can receive.

Elizabeth and James (2007-present) – With the success of The Row, the sisters tapped into the contemporary market and created the chic clothing and accessory line, Elizabeth and James, named after their younger siblings. Sold across major retailers such as Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and high-end stores like Intermix, the line is inspired by their iconic personal wardrobes and vintage finds. In 2016, WWD reported that Elizabeth and James’s apparel generates between $40 million and $50 million in wholesale volume, while their fragrance called Nirvana account for $18 million at retail in Sephora.

Tim Gunn on how to refresh your home for spring

We all know and love him from Project Runway but most recently,  Tim Gunn has teamed up with Command™ Brand to show us how we can bring the fashion runways to the hallways of our homes.  In partnership with Gilt, Gunn is aiming to help instill confidence in people to express themselves at home, translating their personal style into their interior style – without damaging the walls.

We caught up with the best-selling author and style expert to discuss the best way to dress up a blank wall and how to bring bold trends into your home in a minimalistic way. Read the entire interview below!

What’s the best way to transition your interior style to keep your home chic throughout the seasons?

Having furniture basics that are timeless and then you can change things up with accessories, pillows, things that you place on a coffee table or an end table. You should have some fun! It’s a bit like accessorizing a garment but if the main pieces are solid, trendless staples then I think you are very well served.

What is your favorite way to dress up a blank wall, especially in a small space living in NYC?

I love pieces on the wall. In fact, I have so many that now I am leaning pieces against the wall. I think it is just fun to play and it goes without saying that with the Command strips, you can have fun with it and play around with it. You can change it up and move things around. I’ve almost never put a nail in the wall. I like have a lot of things on the wall and playing with proportion and scale and the visual relationship between those pieces. You need to not only look at what they are but also the negative space that they create.

Whether it be swapping out your throw pillows or reframing your art, what is the easiest way to make a big impact when it comes to refreshing your home?

I think the biggest impact one can make is with color. That’s where I rely upon pillows or the artwork as opposed to the furniture itself.

Much like getting dressed, your living space should be a reflection and an expression of who you are. How do you merge your personal style into your home decor?

It’s interesting. My fashion style has evolved considerably since living in New York for the past 35 years and so as my home. There really is a correspondence. My home is very layered, I do a lot of pattern mixing and I experiment with a lot. I move things around, I’ll live with the same furniture placement for 5 years and then think, “you know what, let’s just swap it out and reverse how everything is in the room”. And sometimes you do that and you are like “ okay, now I know why it was the way it was” and other times you think “ You know what, this really freshens it up!”

From polka dots on the Carolina Herrera spring runway to lavender hues at Tibi and Victoria Beckham, what is the best way to incorporate bold trends into your home in a minimalistic way?

One of the easiest things to do is to go to a stationary store and buy some lavender paper and do a book cover and put it on your coffee table, or even buy a candle.

Why everyone is talking about Solange Knowles’s Met Gala bag

Originally published on AOL.com

Solange Knowles is no stranger to a Met Gala. From her iconic yellow moment in 2016 to last year’s Thom Browne jacket we never knew we needed, it’s safe to say we can always expect something out of the ordinary from Ms. Knowles.

So when she showed up on this year’s carpet in a look inspired by the “Black Madonna and Saint Heron,” all eyes were on Solange. While the songstress undoubtedly made a statement in her durag halo and vinyl dress by Iris Van Herpen, it was actually her handbag and what was in it that had everyone talking.

While we’d like to think most stars carry lipstick and a pack of gum in their handbags, Solange’s Swarovski crystal-netted bag was designed for carrying a single bottle of ‘Florida Water’.

The purse took more than 10 hours to craft by hand. Florida Water is a ‘spiritual’ liquid known to protect against negative spirits and is said to give the skin a refreshing glow, containing notes of lavender and citrus. It’s safe to say Solange did not stray away from the theme, even when it comes to her choice of drink.
